My name is Douwe and I've just registered on your forum. Are there any silent rules, and/or behaviour policies I must follow? The last forum gave me quite a harsh welcome... :D

welcome to the HLPBB, the exits are to the sides and rear,but they're gaurded by heavy artillery. flamethrowers are hgunder seats, but we're out of napalm, so you'll have to bludgoen someone to death with them. in case of amore serious conlfict plasma rifles are in the weapons locker op front, but it can only be unlock by an admin or V-God. normally i'd say: "don't go near the ductwork, we've got some lose shivans", but looking at your nick, you'll feel quit at home there. your lunch is free, n00bs!

OT: do you have FS2? if so, do you have it as downlaod or full disks? i'm looking for the disks.

Your best bet would be to read either Karajorma's Freespace FAQ (Don't know the link off the top of my head, but it's in his sig, run a search for his name), or Setekhs Forum FAQ (There should be a link up the top of the forum, or at least on the main HLP page somewhere) (or both :D) That'll run you through the basics (and in the case of Karajormas, quite a bit more).

Welcome to the forum. As Black Wolf said it's well worth your time having a look at my FAQ whatever you want to do with FreeSpace.

If you just want to play there are a few peices of advice in the technical section (like how to make the graphics look even better with the registry hacks) and how to get involved with the multiplayer scene.

If your interested in making missions there's a section on how to take the next steps with FRED.

And if you want to make ships or modify the ones already in the game there's help on how to get started.

Look around, make yourself at home, and remember to do a search before posting anything that might have been brought up before, and try not to bump old threads. Otherwise, have fun!
