It happens to be because my computer was acting so screwy that in a fit of rage I punched it and caused my hard drive to go absolutely beserk. and it's still busted. So I'm on borrowed time here. :sigh:
-
That's why you keep the tower on the floor.
The way I have mine, I could get a crooked kick in at best. :)
-
Laptops don't have towers. And they break easily. Especially when they're made by To****a.
Although actually, it did take a solid punch to bust it. Cuz I've dropped that POS from heights of like five feet before and nothing's ever happened. :D
-
oh. Well then it's your fault for punching a laptop in the first place :p
so.. pick up any wierd side hobbies while you've been gone?
-
heh, i'd break my fist on my case:p
-
Beating up kids in the locker room before sports...having a real life...doing well in school...getting a date for the prom (seriously!)
How's that work? Those good wierd new habits? ;)
-
Suure :p. But Prom? Where do you go to school? We have two proms, but only senors are aloud to go to the one at the end of the year IIRC.
-
Beating? Hell i was throwing kids around the locker rooms at high school..... one kid even foolishly asked me to hit him (true story)....
-
I dunno about you guys, but I generally try to minimalise my time in the locker room for fear of my virgin bumhole.
-
Scuze me. "Prom". It's a stupid school that likes to make us feel special so they call it a "prom" even though its just like a semi-end of skool dance. And its this weekend, it didnt happen yet. (school ends the first week of june!)
and as for beatings, it was just one stupid kid who made some antisemetist remark after we had been kidding around fighting and so i picked him up and threw him to the ground and he fell on that really hard cement and broke his wrist.
wrestling was done for him for the season. :D
-
that's always fun. I go to one end and everyone else scrambles to the other. Never could figure out why, though...
And yes, the Hog rocks!
-
*looks up*
How ironic... it's like he doesn't notice either :p
Are you particularly smelly or scary or something of the like?
-
People tend to do that when you walk in naked and with a huge boner.
-
experience?
-
No, but it would seem to make sense. Especially if it was the girls' locker room.
-
That's why you keep the tower on the floor.
So you can kick it. ;7
No just joking. Dude you have to control your temper, you can't just punch your PC. You should have known what might have happened afterwords.
-
Man you people have rage problems. Control it...I can (in all but two or three cirumstances).
Toshiba laptops are generally among the thoughest...I'd be very afraid of the hole you would have punched through a Sony or Dell product.
-
Jogging it a little can help the hard disk, ah, find something it's having trouble with, and a little smack never hurt anything (actually, once I dislodged my graphics card that way, so that's not technically true but a general rule) but if you haul out and give it a real punch you're frankly getting what you deserve. Be happy you weren't using a desktop tower, you'd have gone for the monitor and be picking glass out of your hand right now.
-
okay so I'm exaggerating a little. It wasn't a serious punch, but it was enough to make my HD go nuts. Although it might have already been nuts.
And I don't actually have anger management problems like it may seem. I'm actually a pretty stable person, it's just my laptop drives me nuts. In the last two months all these things have gone wrong.
- My computer always works in low power mode, even when it's plugged in
- My power cord doesn't work
- I've had my modem replaced four times and I still can't connect to the internet (even though the phone line works. I tested it.)
- All sorts of other little annoying crap
So finally, it just decided to die. With my help. :sigh:
-
well as a rule of thumb, it's always better to put a dent in the wall rather than your harddrive. :p
-
That depends on if he pays rent.

1. My computer always works in low power mode, even when it's plugged in
2. My power cord doesn't work
Hmmmm... have you checked if these two are related? ;)

Yes. Cuz I've lent my power cord to my friends. And it works for them. :(

*bounces excitedly in seat*
Three weeks to go, three weeks to go, three weeks to go.......
*bounces some more*
Sorry - I'm excited. When I'm excited, I bounce. It's just the way I am.
:nervous:
