Title: Help with Update!

Please help, whenever I try to update Freespace 2 to version 1.2, so I can use multiplayer, it gives different error messages each time.

Error: Unrecogzined command line parameter -straight_to_update
File:C:\projects\freespace2\code\Cmdline\cmdline.cpp
Line: 358

Call stack:
------------------------------------------------------------------
    kernel32.dll 77e814c7()
------------------------------------------------------------------

or

Original "FS2.exe" contents do not match, update aborted.

Can someone help me please.:confused:

lemme geuss, HOTU version?

anyway, you don't need the update for multiplay, in the setup, uncheck something like "check for updates at every connection". and it will work without the update.
