Every time I use MODVIEW, it works fine except for the fact that I can't see the textures of my mods; I have to use wireframe or surface mode. But my textures, all of them, are in the Freespace/data/maps folder, right where they're supposed to be. And yet, my MODVIEW never detects the textures.
It's annoying to have to go into modify the ships.tbl file and go into the tech database room all the time just to see what the mod would look like in-game...
Can someone tell me how this can be fixed?

Check your maps are all 256 colour pcx files. This is the usual cause of missing textures

Go into the options, make sure Modelview knows where FS2 is installed. Failing that, copy all your maps into your models folder, and it WILL find them then.

Ok, that worked. I had copied over the modding tools from my old comp (which were in the D: drive) to the new comp (which were placed in the C: drive) and I forgot to tell the new comp to look for the modding tools in the C: drive rather than from the D: drive.
Thanks, GE. :)
