Title: zoom reticule

This is just an idea I had, I have no idea how one could do this, anyway i think it would be cool if you could have part of the screen around the reticule zoom in like in some of the Mechwarrior games.  This would be useful for something like a long range primary gun or dumbfire missile

That would be cool... But I don't even think a coder could that.

(What does the Targeting Laser do?)

well, it was just an idea

the targeting laser is used to call in a subspace artillery strike, but the coding wasn't finished for it

The targetting laser does f-all. It can, however, be table modified. Modifications previously done include: Making it warp in multiple helios warheads once it has 'painted' a target (presumably the intended use, unlocked), or just simply doing what I did and making it do kick-ass damage, then going on a rampage kicking Sathanas butt in an Ulysses
