Woomeister was right, he warned me that would mess up, d'oh!!!
Does someone knows how to tweak that? I put alterntive musics, the first one begins to play, then after a dozen of seconds it switches to that stupid fs2 victory music! D'oh!

I have no idea, sorry (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)

Two questions.
1) Did you replace the FS2 victory music?
2) The mission that you setup this music in. Did it have an objective? If it didn't, then the victory music will play after 10 seconds or so.
When the victory music finishes, it'll play the ambient piece you selected.
-
If you send over the tables, I might be able to help out. (ICQ is A1-SUPAR! for that sort of thang (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif) )

One problem I sometimes get has to do with the music format; I have noticed that it must be in either the uncompressed WAV format or the Microsoft ADPCM one or FS2 does not read it properly. (both stereo and mono work though, as does any frequency rating)

If it switches directly to the victory music, it is a FRED thing...place some enemy units in the mission, that appear only after.....40000 seconds and add a objective...that should prevent the victory music to start immeditely.
If you have further questions about the music.tbl, catch me via ICQ...or eMail or whatever (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Not true, we experienced trouble in TBP with a higher frequencies. Best solution is to use the 22050 Hz, 16 bits with ADPCM compression...the difference between 44 Khz and 22 Khz is not very great (for the common user)...but the size in MB is...

FS2 doesn't like 44khz much either. It crashes sometimes (but not always) with anything in the music.tbl that is 44khz.
