some nice stuff there, actually. I like the first ship ( cobra )

second one is very good in concept, maybe you could work a bit more on the bridge, the lateral extrusions of engines and the nose + add some more details
the star base is not bad too but i don't like the others so much

The Top one and the Zod Station are kick-ass (is the cobra terran?) but remember what was said about over-saturation of campaign stuff?

Hmm, models aren't bad, could use some detailing. The shapes are good, the just need that extra oomph. The Vasudan base, in particular, is an excellent start but needs a little more to make it look more like a space station and not a 3D model. Perhaps lift up the edges of some of the faces so they're horizontal, then giving it a lights texture on the exposed area.

Turret the station and But like some antennae and a command tower on the top, and maybe on ehte bottom (make them different though). That'd help out too me thinks.

I like thee vasudan installation, you know how much fun it'll be to attack that thing with a group of bombers? it'll be really fun!
exactly how big is it? looks about... 2km across, and maybe... 680 meters tall. it better have lots of guns. guuuunnnnssssss. nuuuuunnnnssss.

This isn't directed at you guys, but your latest posts got me thinking.
Why post a lot of screenshots? Generally its just a dark blob firing at another dark blob, and we all know what FS looks like already. I'd much prefer to see one well-lit render of a model than a dozen muddy in-game shots that don't show squat. FS isn't meant to look pretty while not moving, you're supposed to play it.
Focus on renders when showing off what you have, and save screenshots for spiffy new backgrounds or in game effects, with just the occasional shot of new ships in game. Because honestly, if I want to see a ship blow up, I'll load up FS and watch it move.

[EDIT] Actually, while I'm here, I thought I'd mention that fighterbays one the fron of your carrier = bad. Think about how soldiers unload form an APC, and why they do it like that.

I don't really like your fighterbays, Trashman; they look like they've just been booleaned out. You could cut that hole anywhere in the model and it wouldn't matter. Try to integrate it more into the model structure.

3. Fighterbays/hangarbays are usually that way. The Lancer has the one that you would like. Anyway I don't think I'll be re-doing the Galaxy.... At least not for now... I just finished the damn ship...

Yeah...but it looks like it has intersecting poys.... I may have to do it from scratch....

i had recently a lot of problems with convex shapes, behaving in game like if there are intercepting polys, where there aren't. what it happens is that, for example with engine inlets, you can see the hidden edges of the inside of the inlets trough the external surface, with an effect like when there are interceptions.
from what i see the galaxy and lancer *may* have this prob

Nice ships but they could use a little retexturing in some cases (The galaxy is a good example of that). But on the whole looking interesting.
BTW. It appears you've you may have caught Free Terran's nothing but Sathanases disease. You might want to see a doctor about that :D

Like the Vasudan base, it's the one that looks the most freespacy.

Actually, I prefer the Ravana or Deamon for testing...
But since there were 4 ships I tested them with a big and powerfull one...the Sath...
I will work more on them...but good to know they work in game and look fairly good..(not good enough...but I'm working on it..)

Well that's a given. You should always test a ship in game before doing your texturing. :) If you don't you could end wasting a lot of time re-doing it when you find non-flat faces etc. :)

The Excalibur is the most promising. It could do with a bit more rounding in places but the design is actually really nice.

You need more texture variation - underneath the relatively basic textures there seem to be some pretty decent models...
