Title: The Descent Manager Suite

Hey guys...I've noticed that the whole Descent-Network site hasn't been operating as it should be.  So it occured to me that we need to make sure that ALL of the latest tools are available elsewhere, should we loose the site and loose some of the best tools we have.

Do we have an alternate download area for these at present time?  If not, we should collect them all and start putting them up on our respective file mirroring services.

Most of the tools can be DLed from fileplanet, I think.

As I understand it, it'll have to be a non-HLP staffer who can fill that... all 3DAP sites have to use FilePlanet, otherwise it's a breach of GameSpy policy.

Ugh, better FilePlanet than 3Ddownloads. At least the former works more than 25% of the time.

hmm... I want to extract a model from a vp and I have to wait 70 minutes to download the Descent Manager Freespace Kit. Lovely :sigh:
