You know the interface button the .pcx files can any coder change it that we can use .ani for the buttons ?
What do you think is that a good idea ?

erm....the buttons in FS are already animated.

Yes but only with two .pcx files but i want that we can use .ani files wth more pictures.

They are ani files....if you press the play button to start a mission it changes color. Thats done with a ani file.

No they are just seperate .pcx files. Just look into the vp files you will find no anis for the buttons.

Ok, my mistake, but i still don't see the point in making them ani files. it doesn't matter of you use seperate pcx files or sequenced pcx files compiled into ani. Both have the same function in the interface.

You got a point there but I think what Free Terran meant was having anis instead of those pcx so you could have more elaborate effects when hovering above the button or clicking it.
