How many smilies can be in the HLPBB ?
Only 30 ?
-
Yea! The powers-that-be have bestowed upon us a powerful new tool for the expression of the innermost workings of the soul! We must treasure this gift and not allow it abu... Aw, Screw it.
:hopping: :hopping: :hopping: :hopping: :hopping: :hopping: :hopping: :hopping: :hopping: :hopping:

:ick SORRY :hopping:

Currently about half the available smilies seem to never be used-- freaks like :o, :mad2:, :blah:, and :sigh: for example.
They could easily be replaced with much more useful smilies, like (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/images/smilies/thumb.gif), (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/images/smilies/nono.gif), (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/images/smilies/shake.gif), and (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif).

Some of those smileys below look quite good, but those above...we use them often it's just that you don't visit the HLPBB often. ;)
-
Actually, :blah: does get used every so often. I use it so I'm not going to remove it.
-
It's not like they take up space when added - but the more you have the more likely they are to be abused I guess.
-
Why isn't this a smiley yet?

Because you touch yourself at night. :nervous:
-
:hopping:
Hmmm, can't see myself using him much. Old Mr Tard is quite useful - (http://www.the-rift.net/images/smilies/tard.gif) - but I ain't no admin. :doubt: :blah: :sigh:    :( etc
-
:hopping:
Hehe, I like this one :D
-
greaaat... no headz or snipe, but mr. constapation.
:blah:

Heck, that's reason enough to get rid of them right there.
-
The :mad2: seems redundant when we already have . I never understood the point of :sigh: either; it is used in pretty much the same situations as :blah:.
:hopping: I like that new one though, even if it may not be very useful. :D
-
:sigh: = general sigh
:blah: = so ghey, it's depressing. whatever.
mad2 is dorky and redundant, yea.
nobody uses  or :o
-
The :sigh: looks like he is about to vomit. :D
-
good new Smiley:hopping: :hopping: :hopping:

I still prefer my NTF smilie, but it's too large phyisically to fit here...
and who uses :shaking: or ?

Oh, and btw, I use :shaking: whenever I see really good mods or renders. Bit difficult to co-ordinate with , though. :shaking::yes:

Have you a problem with that ?

Wahey!
We need an "appalling" smilie.

Don't know why, but I'm always amused by that smiley.

The simple smily ": o "doesn't ever get used.'s the wrong color IMHO, as no one wants to use a beige simily. As for :blah: "blah" the name says it all; it is used when no words will do. I like it and see a distinct difference from :sigh:
Also, admins, why don't you make a link to the old classic smilies ("more") that can have the odd shapes without messing up the arrangement of the smily grid?

Well now, that's the question of the century, ain't it?
