Because of the popularity of the Post MODding Manual, I have decided to release my second manual regarding FS2 MODding. This time its the FS2 Model Troubleshooting Manual. It contains [almost] every ailment that a FS2 model can have. It ranges from geometry problems to inverted textures and full-fledged directions on solving them.

Admin: Please "stickify" this and post it in the news. Thanks.

Any chance of an update to this so we know what a problem actually looks like. After all whats the visual difference in FS2 (and modelview) between non-flat faces and intersecting polygons? A simple text description is all that is needed, but it would help people like me. Thanks.

The fighter pictured is the Turanic "Bandit" Interceptor. I have a large cache of selected Homeworld ships ready for conversion into FS2. Half of them aren't textured FS2 style.
Also, I have released a preliminary web version of the manual. Please check the siggy and head to the development section of Attempted Suicides.
