Just hope to see the sick bastards who are doing this lined up against the wall some day soon. I mean, talk about torture...

:eek2: :ick
-
this is nothing new
ENTER SANDMAN ROCKS!!!11
-
i guess this process could be reversed.
imagine Americans being forced to listen to Indian music.
i dunno, i just personally can't stand it...
-
[color=66ff00]Ouch, I thought this was going to be nasty.
I just saw a documentary about IDF murdering two journalists and doing an absolutely horrific job of trying to cover it up. Now I remember why I don't watch 'factual' TV.
*goes to insulate himself in ignorance* :sigh:

See, I think this process can be expanded, though. I mean, America IS a huge producer of simply horrible music, and it has the potential to be devastating. Think about the effect twelve helicopters blasting David Allen Coe from side-mounted megaphones could have on, say, Tehran!
-
They should play Pantera :)

I hate Indian music as well.
Well most of it anyway. It sounds like a million teens trying to play Britany Spears Music on a blackboard with their Texas-grown fingernails, while someone ignites tone-deaf kittens in the background with a blow-torch.
-
it's the new super weapon... ;7
I hate most types of music, including the Hindi songs you mentioned, and what is all the worse is that everyone else in my family loves them and listens to the stuff all day, so I have to plug my ears.

that's a very good description of it :D :D :D

kinda ****ed up, but it's just music. I suppose I'd have to grow up as an Iraqi to understand, but I can't see how Enter Sandman would offend them, other than the obvious connection of sand.. :doubt:
But i mean, even if I had N*Sync blasted at me, or Christian Music for that matter, it's still just music.

*Straps KT To a chair and forces him to watch barney the dinosaur*

Say that when it's at 300 decibels, with speakers in close proximity to your head.
You never get the complete story, only enough of it to make it not make sense.
-
*has will of steel*
*watches as Turnsky phears*

And where does it say that?

*turns Volume up*

Did you know that you can't physically go above 180-odd db? Apparently after that it just makes the air hotter, not louder.
-
at around that point's like a standard jet engine isn't it?
-
yea, and that's how loud they are playing the barney theme song at them :doubt:
-
psychological(sp?) warfare/Torture is the term a believe..
-
nevermind.
Now that I try it, I think i would crumble under N*Sync. :nervous:
-
Trippy. Suppose it makes sense, since both sound and heat are based on molecular vibrations...
-
This is just sick. Personally I hate Metalica because those idiots are just a bunch of sick addicts who don't even know what music is. All they actually do is yelling their brains out.
it's the new super weapon...
Oh yeah you think you can take over the world by playing some sick music. :doubt: Ok give us the nukes if music is your new "secret weapon" now.
Honestly, would you stand to watch teletubes for 10 hours straight, strapped to a chair with your head pointed directed to a TV.

Something like that. As a matter of fact, Norway seems to be the most Americanized European country. This isn't just my opinion, this is also written in social science books.

:wtf: You think Metallica are yelling idiots who don't know music?
um.. are you sure you are thinking of Metallica? How about slipknot? or Limp Bizkit?

Actually I haven't heard many Metallica's songs but I don't like them. I am not really into heavy metal, hard rock and such. OK, I may make a few exceptions but no, Metallica is just not it. And that song Enter Saddam, never heard of it, but do I sense cynicism a bit there, in the very name of the song?
-
Well I dunno what you've heard from Metallica (I've always considered them to be one of the oldskoolish 'softer' groups of the hard rock/metal category that still have beautiful songs with meaning) but IIRC Enter Sandman wasn't written about Arabs as far as I know :wtf:...
if it was, I'd certainly be surprised.

Enter Sandman. The guy who puts you to sleep in the night.

Razor, you really could do with taking that pole out of your ass. Or at least removing the rusty spikes. It's people like you who are the strongest argument for American patriotism.
"Uh, I've never heard it, but it's American music! It must suck! Evil! Eeeee-viiiil!"
Sound like anyone familiar? Jerry Fallwell, perhaps?

[color=66ff00]Heheh, yeah, reminds me of one I heard/read/whatevered somewhere:
'The stealth capability of 1000 seagulls on crack'.

I hate heavy metal too. And metalica....
Classics:D .... mmmm... you could never brake me with that..
-
Classical music rules! So long as it's the powerful stuff, like Wagner.
Jazz is great too, I'd never crack under that.
However, if they were to play Scat Man John at me....
-
What about jazz fusion? Its the notes that they don't play that really drive you nuts.:D
-
I mean Jazz like Bix Beiderbecke, and stuff like that. The tune Brazil for instance.
-

That's the man talking. :D
-
narrowminded tards. all of you.
-
Well what do you like, pray?
-
*likes metallica*
...but Apocaliptica is teh 1337/\/355!!
-
Enter Sandman is one of the best songs i,ve heard(naturally the use of the 1st person implies its my opinion), second only to The Master of Puppets.(again my opinion)
-
Hurdy Gurdy Man is a very good song, as is Mack the Knife (the original, not this Robbie Williams crap)

Oh yeah!

And the relevance of that is... what?
Honestly, I've just about given up on you Razor - While I'm sure you've done it (well... reasonably sure) I can't recall you posting anything intelligent or useful in the time I've been here. I think it's time to make (my first) use of the Ignore function.
Oh and Metallica Rocks - I have this same argument with my brother every few days - he can't seem to get over the fact that the music's about negative stuff, and therefore in order to express that stuff, needs to be loud and heavy.
