since i've got a decent connection now(adsl), i'd like to know if there were any decent free(I admit, I'm a cheapass:p ) rpg's out there...

to get the client ( a good huge 570Mb):

Ragnarok Online beta (http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail.php3?fid=1052871063)

only real defaut is that it can be quite laggy from times to times ( two servers, 20000 players, a world that is not that big. to get the idea, in a city: imagine your regular zelda topview. put about 100 players visible on screen. voila :D )
other than that: I play it and it's cool :)

yes. takes 2 minutes, they send a confirmation email ( had to wait 10 minutes for mine, you can do it while you're d/ling the client ). that's all.

Oh man, I have an account and I'd like to play but since the bandwith on our LAN is fully use most of time the Ragnarog has a 3-5 sec lag all the time, so it's not that enjoyable :sigh:

- No lag (well doh with my conn :p)
- Being beaten to death by 12 worms in newbie area FUN! :p

Still need to explore a lot, but it seems like a nice game ;) And Venom, will do.
