Title: the 4 explosion limit

ive created 2 new explosion animations (both are quite cool) and added them to the weapon_exp.tbl, which conhtains 3 by default, unfortunately, anything past the 4th one doesnt work. this suggests there is a limit that someone forgot about. i have a few more animatinons ive made for other game mods id like to convert over to ani files. i think a limit of 15 would do, my creativity will probibly let me fill up about 12 of those, leaving 3 for defaults.

OK guys i have the limit bump up to 6 explosions.
I get many build errors if a build it with a higher limit a must that fix first.

Is Free Terran now part of the SCP Project and I missed the post?  I've seen a few exe's of his around, are they considered a part of the SCP and what makes his so different than the SCP version?  r are his a patch to the existing SCP release?  Or is he just trying to be nice and changing things around for people? What's going on?

You get too many exe's out there, in the SCP forum, and people new will think that its a released version of the SCP...  Maybe those who make their own version of FS2 with whatever should be moved to the modding forum and expressively stated that they're not SCP releases.

I have the limit bump up to 6 explosions.
And i'm not a part of the SCP i don't have ask that i can join the SCP.

is this patch based off of the 3.5.1 or 3.5.3 code? if its not then i cant use it because it would break my mods, which use the new scp features. thanks for your trouble anyway, and someone make him part of the scp.

Its basend on fs_open version 3_5_1
And i have bump up:
explosion limit form 4 to 6
max subturret limit from 10 to 25

OK i have find the bug and ne is the limit 15.

as for me, i can do everything for freespace but write code (for this game anyway), and my freding skills suck.

unfourtunately i had to bail from another mod project because of work and school, neighter of which i do anymore. now im trying to join the marines, so i will need to drop mods all together again (although i dont exactly know when). id like to focus on my own mods for now. im currently focusing on the final touches before i release something.

Thanks, I've been wanting to add more explosions to the game for ages....

As for what I can do, well:

Concept art
Learning how to model in TS (:shaking: )
Learning how to apply textures in TS (:nervous: )
Texture editing
Tbl editing - ships and weapons (you should see my list of weapons ;7 )
Pof editing (all areas except paths)
FRED to an extent
thats all for now...

Please note that for the next 4 weeks I'm not going to be able to do much, as the next 2 weeks are for revision (:shaking: ), and the fortnight after that, EXAMS!!!:eek: :nervous: :eek: !!!!

NO 25 is the sub-turret limit the explosion limit have i bump up to 15.
