Isreali-Arab Conflict
I really don't see a solution to this. Every goddamn day I hear about either a new suicide bombing or a bunch of homes getting forcably bulldozed, or a riot, or a raid, or rockets fired, or an airstrike, and on and on. Both sides have been at each other's throats so long that they're just going to go back and forth avenging the most recent attack against them and continue the cycle of violence. Every day, every bullet, they get further and further from peace. There should just be a giant wall built around the whole place so they can duke it out 'till one side or the other, or both, is extinct.
Sry, if this offends anyone.

Israel-Palestine?
They should either have America declare the Palestinians terrorists and wipe them from the face of the Earth with a massive carpet bombing campaign, or tell Israel to back the **** off.
Personally, I think they should just nuke Jerusalem and Bethlehem and be done with it for all time.
-
this has been going on for thousands of years. we're not gonna end it today.
-
Indeed.
It'd be like trying to stop the tides coming in.
-
A country has to meet two criteria before America attacks it:
1) It has to have something America wants
2) It has to be defenseless
-
Agreed.
It's only a matter of time 'afore Britain is invaded.
-
does anyone here read the bible? just curious
i don't think Britain will be invaded, because they don't meet the criteria a country needs to meet for America to attack it:
1) they aren't defenseless, they have a powerful army
2) they don't have anything America wants! Iraq has the oil
-
Don't forget that we need to have domestic problems to distract from, too!:D
:EDIT:
oh yeah, I LOVE the bible:
"There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses." (Ezekiel 23:19-21).
"So we cooked my son and ate him." (2 Kings 6:29).
:eek2:

That is constantly being cut back on, and more and more US military bases are popping up all the time
2) they don't have anything America wants! Iraq has the oil
We are well sited to act as a giant airbase for the US to laucnh attacks on any of the Middle Eastern countries it desires/

Are you talking about the end-times stuff?
War in the holy land, the anti-christ, legions of satan, that crap?
If so, the bible is not to be taken literily(and makes no sense if you do).

See, now, the thing with nukes is that only one of two things can happen when you use them on people:
1) Everyone imposes sanctions.
2) Everyone attacks you.
Now, for America, sanctions mean bull-****. Every piss-poor country would clammer to defy the sanctions in the hopes of securing a long-term trade relationship with the US. And once everyone knows you're willing to nuke people to win, they're very hesitant to attack.
The only real thing they can do is initiate the 'proportional response' contingency whereby everyone launches all their nukes in the hopes of annihilating all your nukes before you can launch them.
So basically, if America were to irradiate the middle-east, there'd be ****-all anyone could do bar total nuclear holocaust.
Let's not forget that any conventional attack would be somwhat hampered by the fact that to run the tanks, planes and choppers people would need oil, which, conveniantly, would be situated below a giant, super-radioactive crater.

Not a crater, a nice sheet of glass.

Well britain has oil... Scotland has oil atleast, but certainly not as much as Iraq - plus you'll have to get it out from mile under one of the most hostile sea's in the world. :ha:
-
Britain also has the Chunnel (at least, access to it), which America could use to rush troops of all kinds on to Eurasia.
Either that, or turn it into some sort of Super-Gun to shell other countries with, like the V-3 guns that Nazi Germany built into mountainsides to shell London with, but never had chance to use 'em.
-
Yeah, troop movements through a little, easily colapseable, easily blocked tunnel.
Why the hell would we need mountain guns when we have these excellent little cruise missles. Guns are for poor people.:D
-
Cruise missiles can be shot down, shells cannot.:D
-
Armed nukes can be shot, but they can't be shot-down.
-
What a nasty little thread :ick

Yes, yes it is.
