You know... If ever there was a guy like the BOFH who I happened to call, and did one of those things, I'd literaly beat the living **** out of them. Seriously. I would'nt whimper if there would be a "clickety click... Oh sorry, you're account is lost." I'd just reply "Bad move..." and knock on his door. Funny enough, something quite like that happened to me at the place I used to work at this year. A stupid ass nerd guy who preoccupied his time on keeping the school computer systems going, gave me some lip about how networking systems work. I asked him simply why the comps in OUR rooms weren't on the net, and he gave me this whole rant of technical BS. I couldn't take it anymore and had to threaten him with bodily harm if he didn't shut up and do his job. Well, funilly enough the comps were online in no less than 10 mins.
