Our new Shivan Installation model for TCP has at last been finished:

Hmm, maybe it could do with some darkness, it is meant to be evil and menacing, after all.

Well, not exactly a shipyard. :)
It's only using original Shivan textures from V, mainly of those from the Sathanas, Ravana, Comm Node, etc. It won't be any lighter than those in the game.
The renders are a bit missleading 'cos I've played a lot with raytracing and lighting in MAX. It would be hard to show the details of a big black blob on a render. :nod:

the textures are repeated a bit, especially on the prongs, you should go for the sathanas arm's style.

I was going to say exactly that. The repeatitions are too high on the prongs. Try turning them down and it should improve the quality no end.
The basic shape however is excellent :) :yes:

Actually that pattern looks quite bad in a lower repetition, 'cos the "legs" have very simple geometry, and the texture bending on the edges would emphasize it even more.
I've tried with a simplier / darker texture, but then the legs just disappeared in the background. It's not easy to select a good texture for this part.
Noise:
The Acridon plays quite an important role in TCP, so we intend to release it with the campaign.
However the time will eventually come ...;)
