I just can't get it to work!!!!!!!!!!!

I made a shielded capship... converted it via PCS, but then saw that LOD0 and 1 were swapped in their order...
I changd the order and tried to convert again....PCS chrashes!!!

HOW CAN THIS BE?!

He converted it allright..
The turret names are a mess...again..
turrets02 is supposed to be a nomral laser turret  -  instead, modelview shows it as TurretMain05, a double-barreld big turret.
And puts debris in the turrets list, alltough all turrets are correctly numberd!
I'm fed up with this...anyone want to take a look at the scn?:confused:

He conveted it allright..

Turret names are a meass...again

For an example... turret 36 is supposed to be a small, normal turret - in modelview it's shown as a big barreld TurretMain02???

And debris show up in the turret list alltoug I have named all the turrets properly....

Anyone want to take  look at the scn?

update to last pcs, precedent one was screwing hyerachy, if you already have the last one, it should be something related to your hyerachy order

It happens to me all the time.  All you have to do is decomposite your hierarchy in TS and recompile it again.  Also, make sure that you place the LODs in order.  So add detail1 to the hierarchy first before detail2 and debris1 before debris2.

whats the prob with thrusters???
just extract a pcx from the ani, convert to bmp, apply it in in truespace as any other texture, check the orientation, if orientation is wrong, you can edit manually the uvmap in truespace: once you click the uvmap button, a shape of a different color appear (sphere if you use spheric uvmap, a plane for planar, a cube for cubic etc) and until this uv shape is visible you can edit it manually like any other mesh, scaling, moving, rotating, mirroring (flipping) it.
