Not satisfied...
Have to find out how to make explosions in TS5.1......
Ad put more ships...Lots of fighter/bombers....lots of lasers...lots of explosions...LOTS;7

WTF is DB? and DG?
And I only have TS5.1 and 3D Max 5....
(And I have no disire to convert all the models to 3ds and texture them agin.....:drevil: )
And it's still not done...

I use Max 5 and I frankly think its awesome.

i'd suggest getting rid of those lens flare effects from around those beam points... they look out of place..:nod:

Do not overdo it !
Explosions at the beam impact points would be necessary of course.
Lens flare comes from the flaws of optical lens. Why do you insist on imperfectness ? :D

The reason why I'm not rendering this in 3D Max is:
Converting from cob to 3ds doesn't keep the textures or turrets.
I don't have time to re-texture and re-turret several ships just for a render, especially when I can do it in TS...

TS can do quite a good job as well. Anyway MAX requires much more work to set up correct lighting.
But COB to 3DS conversion DOES preserve turret textures. Try PCS and Deep Exploration to convert the models.
Or download the Ravana model (3DS) from my site and give it a try. I will upload some more V models in 3DS format soon.
