Alright I'm sure theres a way around this and its not a bug so...

450Mhz Processor, G400 32MB Matrox gfx card, 5.1 bog standard sound, usb joystick, etc

both the 3_5_3 unofficial and "latestrelease.exe" crash out on launch with "Failed to create device".

DirectX9 installed, all drivers are WHQL.

Any thots?

re-run the lancher, and make select d3d.
