Well, theres a new web service popping up on Starwars.com that might interest a few of you called Hyperspace.
This is what IMDB had to say:
On Tuesday, June 10th, Lucasfilm Ltd.® will launch a major redesign of its popular starwars.com website (http://www.starwars.com) and unveil a brand-new service called Hyperspace. Hyperspace brings an unprecedented level of depth, scope, and personalization to the Web's only official entertainment site devoted to Star Wars. From June 5-9, all visitors to starwars.com will get a "sneak preview" of many of the enhanced services that Hyperspace offers to subscribers with features such as member-only reports and updates from the set of Star Wars: Episode III; exclusive access to a never-before-seen sequence from Attack of the Clones in its rough-cut form; even a Star Wars-themed e-mail address you can use for all of your e-mailing. The same great features that have always been available at starwars.com are still free, but Hyperspace takes you beyond to discover a new, accelerated Star Wars online experience.
Well, I'll certainly take a look during the sneak preview time, but making it a payed service really pisses me off. I mean come on. Theres some cool stuff in it, but nothing worth paying for, if you ask me...

They been talking about making in a payed service for a while now. Never thought they'd really do it after the objections a lot of people made.

So Lucas needs money?
Didn't know that SWII: AtoC was that bad :D

1: It's not Lucas himself ,... but the website flakes.
2: It started out as $20 ,... now it's been lowered to $10 already based off the complaints on the forums alone. So far only TWO posts were approving of Hyperspace,... and those were admin.
Let's see,... $20 to get online and see what ? Everything that will come in the DVD set for the movie? Why pay for it twice?
Basically what you've got here is a bunch of yuppies that were hired when Ep 1 started up and now they're spazzing because Ep3 is going on and they know soon Lucas won't have a need for them.
