The NTF's design. Built more as a moving gun platform than a ship. It has very heavy armor, but only moves at 10 m/s and has moderate anti-fighter weapons. It was built for orbital and slow convoy defense. Only 7 were made, 2 were captured by the GTVA during the rebellion. 3 were destroyed in space dock in Sirius and 2 were destroyed at the Deneb jump node, but only after they were able to destroy a Diemos corvettes and 2 fenris cruisers. Supposed to be...I'm still writing the full tech description, it does go into detail on the design of the ship and why it is sorta blocky.

Wow, Looks good - I actaully prefer this kind of ship sometimes, that way it looks "harder" and better armored as opposed to with lots of angles and so on...

Needs help on adding the turrets and engine glows. I have KillMeNow's turreting tutorial. Is there other more in depth tutorials on gluing thrusters, LODS, etc. Or can somebody show me first hand. This is the only cap-ship I have been satisfied with and really want to get this into fs2. I tried this morning to get some of the turrets to work but of course it crashed, stupid machine.

Untouchable has been helping me convert this ship and so far the guns are working...but right now I have had a slight mis-caculation on the size. Seems I did the math wrong and while Im sitting here looking in fred2 I see the argoso and this white little dot next to it. Well most of you would think that must be a fighter...but nooooo thats a damn GTI hades.

What's wrong with having very powerful anticap cruisers? The Shivans have the Lilith, and it's natural that we'd want to try to make a Terran or Vasudan counterpart to that.

Balancing. If you have a ship that spells death to every fighter in close range, then it should have a vunerability - in this case to beam equipped cruisers (and above). I think it's best to treat every ship you mod as a possible enemy ship - that way you can balance it better than if it's always fighting on your side.
