Dear FS2 Denizens:
Rampage has pumped out another tutorial! This time I will teach the community how to make those horribly hard to make ship animations.
It's a hard job made easy. Woomeister inspired me to write this tutorial after teaching me how to make animations in 3DS MAX two weeks ago. I must not allow this knowledge to remain erudite but allow it to propagate into the minds of any and every FS2 MODder.

Mnyah, I prefer using MAX for everything in the animation (including wireframe/mesh translation, and the accompaning flash of light/thingy), but it's a preference I guess. My excuse is that I can't do SH1T in PSP

How do you do that? I would like to add that knowledge to my collective consciousness.

Note to self: Get BG that :V: used and try to get a flash of light/thingy in the blender ani.

sorry to sound mega ignorant, but I didn't realise F/Space had that much in the way of animations.
aren't the ships just fixed models, bar the odd turret ?

no there are allot of animation/image stuff in it. FS does use the model for the techroom and the mission briefing when you click on an icon.

Rampage hasn't been around for a while - anyone feel like converting and submitting this tute to the HLP archive so we can unsticky this baby? (I'll probably end up doing it.) :)
