How many times have you completed FS2 main campaign?
What makes it replayable for the second ... third ... forth .... thousandhundred and twentyseventh time? <- 1127th time;)
-
I'm not sure but I think I have completed it 6 times.

I also don't know it exactly, I am about six and seven, too. Could you achieve all the medals?
-
Probably over 40 by now. :p :D
-
Twice in full - I didn;t do some of the SOC missions first time round. I restarted it a couple of times when I reinstalled FS2 on different PCs, but never actually finished it.
-
Only once did I ever get every single medal in one go. I like playing FreeSpace 2. Especially after a heavy S:AAB sesh
-
i played it about 6 or seven times, perhaps more.
one thing, you did put a timeout on these polls, right?
right?
-
A dollar says he hasn't. And that there'll be at least two more tomorrow.
-
6-10 times.....
and cp, why didn't you vote more than 20?
-
Remember if the topics don't time out we will come after you Top Ace EVERY time they get bumped cause it's really your fault as much as the newbie who bumps it.
-
The OC is like a good book, it gets better every time.
BTW, approx. 6 times.

IE crashed right after I posted and I forgot about it by the time I had loaded up the forums again due to some math problem on my mind. :p

No, it has no time limit. Why?
-
Cause now every few months some newbie is going to come across one of these polls, vote and bump it all the way back to the top of the forum!
-
You know, I hate to admit this, but despite the amount of time I've been part of the FS community, I've only ever played the whole game once.
-
it isn't the main campain that is were the replay value is, it's in the modding
-
I learned to play fs2 with the mouse, I was dead accurate too. Then I tried it with the joystick. Totally different experience altogether. Then I replayed the port, and Derelict...awesome...
-
I think I've played it about six times. On keyboard. Now I'm trying to complete it on Hard.

Bearbaiting and A game of TAG would be very entertaining that way. I could complete FS1 totally on Hard, with some mistakes(I couldn't defend the Galatea's escape pods, etc.)
I am playing on keyboard, too. You are far more accurate, and you can hold your craft straight for long time.
-
Well...mouse is like that...if your hand isn't twitching all over the place, you'll stay straight. And all you have to do is click on the lead indicator a few times for each fighter.
'course it's a little bit more than that, but that's the jist of it.

Playing with mouse surely requires some minimal Quake experiences.:D

 Well, TA won't forget to put a limit on his polls now.

I never finished Freespace 2. My third CD ended up cracked(physically, about 1/4" from the inside heading out) and won't allow me to go any farther than the escort the Bastion mission.
If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it. I'm on a 56k modem with limited time online at once, so downloading it is not an option.

Check out the Freespace FTP thread, and use Open_FS.
You may expect to find the avi version of the movies later when Sandwich (Bless him for his work!) will move on to FS2 instead FS1.
