(Being afraid of Tiara does NOT count :D)
Anyways, I'm most afraid of losing the ability to think. That's why Alzheimer's + after death (NOT death, just what happens after, what I don't get to see, like flying cars and stuff) scare me the most.
-
1. Find suitable multi-story, open-air parking garage, fancy overpriced sedan or other smallish car on top level.
2. Acquire two sturdy wooden boards and a knife.
3. put wooden boards between car and protective garage wall, resting on top of wall.
4. Cut brake line
5. Push
Instant flying car. There, one less thing you have to worry about never seeing.
I'm afraid of the goblin under my floorboards. He dragged off my little sister a couple years back, and keeps whispering things to guests that make them go insane. I mean, I wear earplugs and am a bit too big for him, but still...
-
Alzheimer's scares me, but I'm not scared of after my death (pissed off that I don't get to see all the cool stuff) because isn't going to be more horrible after I die than before I was born.
And then Tia...oh..doesn't count...crap.:nervous:
-
Losing my ability to communicate... :nervous: Imagine being fully conscious and having everyone treat you like a piece of furniture.

Dired Apricots. Chinese kites and Dried Apricots.

same here, death doesn't really scare me, if i die, i die, ain't really much i can do about it is there?:doubt:
the complete loss of my hands scares the hell out of me tho.

Ahhhhhhh! Horseshoe crabs!!!
Get it away! Send it to hell!
Seriously, these are about the only things that send shivers down my spine. They look like the fricken facehuggers from Alien.
-
i'm afraid of going blind and the thought of soem guy or girl in estonia seems to love to by pass my fire wall and DoS me with out me knowing till he screws up and i see his attack in my security log
-
bees
-
Spiders above 3cm in size.
-
I don't know that I am afraid of much at all, to be honest, but then I've not really encountered many things that would be frightening.
I suppose I am afraid of going blind in my left eye, and this is actually quite likely, as I went temporarily blind in it a few months ago.
-
Blindness, spiders, cancer, and having unhealthy kids. Those four scare me the most. Blindness for the simple fact that I can't comprehend what it would be like to live in darkness all my life. Spiders because I had a traumatic event with the little evil buggers when I was young. Cancer, pritty obvious, one in three of us get it at some point, that scares me, not only if I get it, but if any of my friends get it as well. Having unhealthy kids scares me a lot too. Just the thought of if makes me shudder.
Then ofcourse theres that creepy little girl who climbs out of tvs... :shaking:
-
Aye, I suppose cancer if very worrying, that's why I try not to think about such things. I find that if I refuse to understand the significane of anything, then I won't worry about it.
The result of this is that I am so laid back that any further I'd be upside down, never mind horizontal.
-
mmh... faraid of raising bad kids. guess that's about all.
ah, no, staying unemployed, too, how could I forget that, I think about it about 50 times an hour :doubt:.
-
The dark, late at night... it still freaks me out... :nervous:
-
me, i love the night... dunno why, you'll never see me out of the house without sunglasses, even when it's REALLY overcast:p
-
 :D
I just realised, I'm afraid of strange comic artists coming up from Tasmania and kidnapping me and Setekh... :p
-
kiddnapping? no... causing greivous bodily harm? perhaps:p
-
mostly bees and wasps for now I guess. And mainly because I stepped accidentaly onto one when I was a little and it stung me...

Oh no. Anything but that again.
-
I am not typically a fearful man. But there is one thing I am afraid of: Blindness. If I have to do something, I haven't done previously. I am somehow certain I won't do it the right way.
-
fear of my family breaking up
-
oh yah i also hate wasps my favorite wya to kill htem indoor:the good old windex bottle give them a mouth ful of ammonia
-
big dogs.

Almost forgot about that one...
Here's some comfort...my friend is trying to edit out the entire movie except for that one video.......7 days......
There's this teahcer at my school...she scares me...

Physical pain, losing my parents and that's it. Death is an inevitability so why fear it?
"There is no pain in death, it just hurts to die" I heard that somewhere and it stuck with me.
-
I don't fear death. I fear what happens after, I just can't fathom a time without thought (I do believe in an afterlife, but sometimes I doubt it). Plus, I miss all the really neat stuff in the future.
Another thing is losing the ability to think, which is one of my most important things, aside from sight.
-
I'm absolutely terrified of losing my independence, like if I went and got meself crippled or something. I could see me wanting to top meself if that ever hapened. Shudder.
I can't say that I'm actually scared of death itself, in fact I think I'd be more frustrated if I knew I was going to die than scared - all the things I wanted to do, and all that. Something that occoured to me recently, though, is that at 21 years old I've probably lived a quarter of my life already. I'd never considered my own mortality before, and that did rattle me a little... but I'm not going to worry about since there's nothing anyone can do...
As for phobias, I run screaming like a little girl from the average spid (big ones have me literally rooted to the spot with fear while I yell for help), and big dogs - I got chased by a dog when I was knee high to a grasshopper, and though it's not so bad these days I'm still not confident around them. Which is why I keep cats. Go cats!
Actually, there's a spid up in the corner of the situation room. It's about 3/4 inch or so, and if it moves then I'm damn well going to paintball the little ****er.
-
same as what everyone else has said mostly: blindness, losing limbs, cancer, intense pain.
public speaking scares me and so do Goths. there was this one girl at our school who really freaked me out, she had lip piercings and stuff and one time I saw she had all these scars on her arms, later I heard she gave herself the scars. she finally got sent to the funny farm when tried to attack one of her friends with a pair of scissors. she was ugly too :ick

I like to take them with some tweezers and burn them on the stove top.
Leave the former Mr.Wasp burnt to a crisp on the windowledge so other wasps will think twice before intruding

I thought I was the only one who did that.
I used a lighter after I was stung one too many times.
On one good day I got seven.
-
hmm i should get some tweezers only one problem by the time i see them they are active enough to fly and sting so thats when the windex xome twards them in a shotgun style fasion

BRAINS!
-
here we go again:rolleyes:
-
No, really, brains. Do you have any idea how fecking HARD it is to be a zombie who's scared of brains? DO YOU???
-
-
My greatest fear would be this. All of reality is a mans dream, and one day the man will wake up, instantly making reality cease to exist.
Creepy isn't it?
-
this won't count but what the hell...
here's something to be afraid of.
Tiara takes up skydiving...:p

Oh, the irony.

something that would be quite worrying would be if I were to wake up, onloy to discover that I was Birmingham...

:wtf:

Not to say that there are much better places about, city life isn't for me however.
Birmingham I hate, I cannot stand the place and I am for all intents and purposes, a brummie (despite the fact I'm like 20 miles away from the place and don't have an accent at all)
-
I fear nothing. Flesh is transitory. All flesh is grass. And my mind cannot be touched. Therefore I fear not man, not beast and not anything between.
-
Surely you must fear children's television?
BTW, your ban count is still at 1.
-
Yeah I know.
Children's television is more annoying than scary.
-
What about Boobah?
That's just horrifying.
-
It's got good cinematography and graphics though.
Although it is definitely more ****ed up than Teletubbies or The Tweenies.
-
There you are then. Who the hell comes up with this ****e?
-
All those people you see in those old 60's documentaries on LSD.
You thought they went on to lead productive lives? Nope. They're strapped to a chair in the BBC HQ's basement with a pad, some paints and a constant feed of "Happy Happy Joy Joy" from Ren and Stimpy being blasted through the 8ft speakers.
-
Ahh, that would explain it.
Which reminds me, I must find a video of "Look around you"
-
Afraid of the most? Hmm.... My gun blowing up in my face when I fire it? Nahh. :) Uhhh... actually, the times I find myself the most tense, with my heart beating the fastest, is in playing FPSes (without cheats). Really, I hate the tension some of them have - even Serious Sam's too much at times. ;)
I've gotten used to explosions and tanks firing, so loud noises barely make me jump. Spiders - meh. Becoming mangled for life from some bus bombing or whatever, yeah, that thought is worrying, but it's not something that tends to freak me out when I think of it. Same with cancer. I do hate the thought of losing my mind in old age - I look around at some of the people around me who have the lights on without anybody being at home, and it's kinda repulsive to imagine myself like that. I value my mental faculties too much.
Of course, rejection's a killer. :shaking:
-
actually losing my mind, i'm afraid of (no family history thank god- and we can trace our family back to napoleon's:nod: )
this is what i fear the most...
Middle-aged, a fat wife two kids a dead-end job & morgage and becoming an over-worked, underpaid burnt-out shadow of my former self...
i.e.. my father's second marriage (he's a postal worker):shaking:

I watched Boobah when I was stoned and couldn't help but laugh. It increased my desire to do acid tenfold.

Being hunted.
Not just some freak dream, or stupid manhunt or whatever.
Being hunted literally like the Jews during WWII.
The most f***ing terrible aspect of the whole is, that it is possible. Me and my whole family are in close connection with the successor party of the local communist party, so if any more "despotic" righter action takes place we're no.1 on their list.
Receantly the elections were so fierce that it has torn apart families and the bloody politics have spilt over the schools and churces. This time the MSP won and no one got hurt...next time, I wonder...
To TopAce and Grunt:
I have nothing personal against anyone of any moderate political position, and among my friends I give it a damn.
But when people amass on the Hero's Square and demand the death of anybody with similar beliefs to me or death of my half-sisters with a certain "additional trait of blood" ....
That gives me the chills.
-
Amnesia.
Waking up one day in the hospital, not knowing who I am or how I got there and not knowing the people who come to visit me saying they are my family..
But then again maybe remembering may be..
