I really wanna try it out but I cant get past the first level because the mod made my wrench disappear.  I can still hear the sound but it wont bash anything. :(

Any ideas?

Did you patch it before using the new meshes?

Try starting a new game after a clean install and patching.

If it is the reselled patch version, than I don't have a clue.

those chicks are freaky. the fact they have the faces of cute chicks makes them even more disturbing. That's a cool job, really :)

It doesn't look anything like the original...

There is a way to fix that wrench problem, but I'm damned if I know what it is.
I don't like this mod anyway, as they just don't look as frightening.

Also, DAMN YOU! I thought this was going to be a thread about an SS2 mod for Freespace.
There's no denying that the Rickenbacker would go well in the Freespace Universe.

Dude, a chick with an expression like she just tripped or something with an industrial accident on her thighs is not as scary as a Cyborg Mother.

The models are good but the legs are off.

Some weapons and/or robots are now invisible since i installed "Rebirth"...

This is a very commun problem, which is due to the path of your "System Shock Game"... This can be easily fixed:
- create a directory called "res" in your ss2 directory,
- move all your .crf files into it
- Edit " install.cfg " to change the res_name line to point to c:\sshock2\res+E:\shock (or whatever your respective ss2 and cd directories are).

Here is an example of my "install.cfg":

cd_path E:\
install_path C:\program files\Sshock2
language english
resname_base C:\program files\Sshock2\res+E:\shock
load_path C:\program files\Sshock2+E:\shock
script_module_path C:\program files\Sshock2+E:\shock
movie_path C:\program files\Sshock2\cutscenes+E:\shock\cutscenes

Then, install Rebirth normally by extracting the "mesh" folder in your game root folder...

Nah, that's cheating.
