too bad for you.
-
Hey, **** you. I needs an upgrade. :p
You know, I really should go back to the "****" image, it was a lot more stylish.
In case you missed the other one, then here it is again: stop bypassing the word censor. // Sandwich

hehe, sorry, but that was too tempting :D
-
-
yeah, get to your local raggaeman, and get a joint. that's what you need :p
-
I wish it was that easy out here.
-
The best thing about those small cases is that they're easier to hurl across the room when something ****s up.
-
What kind of device is that?
-
it's a computer, a fairly small one too
I just got mine in and it's about two feet tall, bout foot and a half deep, half foot wide. just got the last of my perifrials to work on it too, I should have gotten a monitor though, TV out (as I now know) is for secondary displays only.
bad thing is though it's too big to fit anywere, I think I may have found a solution to that though
-
you got a full tower?:eek2:
i'm quite pleased with my midi tower...
-
I could never get a full tower, as I have a pile of discs on top of my case that is higher than the case itself...

I got a full tower, 2 foot of AOpen HQ-08 to be precise:
I bought it because I wanted something with a lot of room inside to promote decent airflow and didn't want to pay AUD$400 or more on crap like Lian-Li (The HQ-08 cost AUD$199 which is more than I really wanted to pay for a case but such is life) but also because I was tired of reaching down to put CDs/DVDs into my old mid-tower (which I kept on the floor as it was too awkward to keep on the desk) :D.

I have a medium one, and, well, I could use the larger version.

Is that the same Lian Li as the over priced, over rated, "OH LOOK IT'S SHINY!!111!!!!!" Lian Li? Then yes. A Lian Li half the size of my HQ-08 costs twice as much and all you get to show for it is a shiny exterior. No thanks, I'll put the 200 bucks I save from *not* buying a Lian Li into something more practical.

such as a millenium falcon case? :doubt:

here Stryke, let me help you out:
is this the one you're looking for? :

no, it's the Lian Li which was raved about not because it was shiny, but because it was 100% aluminum. it was like one big heatsink.

No, I actually think it went in part to relicencing my car that year. Since you brought it up though if I were considering buying a Mini-ITX board (and I am, I could use something like that as a relatively cheap file server), I'd choose something more practical there too, I have an old PlayStation2 shell here that could be pressed into service...
Seriously though, as I said before there are plenty of more conventional boxes designed around the Mini-ITX form factor, Lian-Li even make a few models (although I'd rather go to hell and be sodomised with pitchforks than buy their overpriced crap), the small size and low cooling requirements allow for some really small cases. I'd probably end up just buying a cheap ATX midi tower (which can be had for about AUD$50) though as the tiny Mini ITX cases are usually quite pricey and sometimes require special "low profile" bits and pieces which also add to the price.

I like the ones with the handles on the top better... much easier to use as a weapon...
