At long last INF Chapter 1 has been completed. The last internal test shall be starting soon and everything is being finalised
Expect more info in the next few days, depending on how long the test takes it may be out by the end of this week.
All staff members wishing to play the test version please make sure you have the most up to date modpacks, then look out for when I post the finalised missions up.
For the rest of you, here's a pic of a chapter 2 mission I'm working on today:

Wohoo:)
-
Good stuff, I look forward to playing it. :D
-
Looks great :D
-
I am sure that when push comes to shove, all of us consider Inferno as FS3. (Me included :) )
-
I can't wait to download it.
As for the C2 screenshot, well, your ships certainly have no shortage of beam turrets...:shaking:
-
heh those are Argo transport :D
-
...attached to something to 'supplement' their firepower - the Argo acts as the engine. :)

Ditto, thanks so much for putting in all the hard yards Inferno Team  News! :D
-
just a question to the developers of this AWESOME  Campaign/mod/FSOverhaul... why did you even bother to make cruisers and even destroyers when you have so many incredible Juggernaughts.
(note this question is meant to emphasize the power of the juggernaughts and not meant to degrade in any way, shape, or form the efforts and countless hours of labor put into the making of Inferno or any part of it.)
Two thumbs way up!

-
A campaign using 6 juggernaughts over and over again would get boring fast. No-one would want to play it, and I wouldn't want to make it.
The only Juggernaught you'll see in r1 is the Gigas (well there's a Sath mentioned in a briefing :D )
Plus our cruisers rock :D
Be careful round the EA ones, they can instantly kill you if your too careless.

How about you release it so we can experience it ourselves? ;)

Soon, still waiting for the last few mission updates, then I have to finalise the tables. Might make the Shivan/Ancient VP today, then only the core files need to be finalised.
-
just out of curiosty how many downlaods will this involve, is it going to be seperated into little easy bite size bits or one big ass meal?
Either is fine with me infact i would prefer the later :D
-
The seperated version will probably be out first.
Then the single file installer version a bit later.
The installer version is around 250mb uncompressed.
The content is basically the same, the only difference is the big one includes the full cb anis which are optional for the other release, and a loded version of the SOF Horae made by Rampage (which I'll probably put on the INF archives for the rest)
If your up to date with the packs we've released so far then for the multiple VP version the remaining packs are:
Shivan/Ancient Ship pack
Core files
Mission/Table files
optional full length cb anis
It won't matter which version you install for R2, since it doesn't matter as long as the required files are there.
R2 won't be as large as R1 as it just adds to it. It's still over 50mb of files now though :D
-
Well i havent got any packs at all yet so ill just wait for the single download release just so i dont have to put any effort in :D
-
I WANT FERNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Decided to say i want it :)
-
Internal test version is up, all staff who want to play it head into the internal forum.
