well, the original looked good too, I just did a bad thing by cutting and pasting :)

FT: Read thru it, see if it makes sense, he cleaned up some things based on suggestions, also highlighted where things might affect the original campaign.

I [once more] suggest a section for the bare-bones system requirement:

Bare-Bones for Freespace 2: Source Code Project
• Pentium II.
• 64 MB SDRAM.
• 4x or faster CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive.
• 8 MB video card with DirectX 8 compatible driver.

What I really care about is the video card thingy.  Again, I have to say it again that I have a 8MB video card and it works fine.  The 16 MB seems to be a bit - biased for me.  I, and the others with a 8MB card, feel left out.  8MB cards may be two years obsolete but they still work fine.  My version of FS2 SCP (3.5) runs smoother than - [need object].

Can't.  I was an inexperienced shopper who bought a system at Best Buy for $550 with an integrated motherboard. :(

No AGP slots? At least tell me you have an open PCI slot in there....
If nothing else, you could pick up a PCI graphics card.

I did.  Since I can't turn off the onboard video card, Windows had some queer problems with it.

Hmm.. have you searched through your BIOS options for a way to disable it? I had to do that to the Realtek APU on my computer for my SB Live! to work correctly.

Well, if you are feeling brave, try getting hold of the instruction manual for your motherboard and playing with the jumpers, though to be honest, I really do doubt you could find the instructions, and personally, I HATE messing around with my board :(

Ahh... Don't feel bad.  I'm getting a Athlon XP pretty soon with a kick butt video card.  Even though it's for my son, but he's just a senior in high school and will not take it with him to college as of now.  So I can play with the new system for a while before he takes it with him.  [Sigh]

Dang...the $600 i'm selling at work have a PCI and AGP slot in them...and these are the mini-ATX ones from ASUS.  To not have that really hurts (Sorry to rub it in).

Time for a new machine :)

[Does a Reality Check on Self]  Um...  I have been planning to build a new system for the past three years but that meager teacher's salary is just enough to support my large family.  A new computer was not considered to be an necessity until now.

The reason that I bought my current system from Best Buy for $550 three years ago was because my family was going through some hard times.  If not, I would've constructed it three years ago.

• $Shots: 2  Number of shots, used for shot gun effects (when mixed with the FOF tag). Can be used with the new "cycle" flag as the number of points that will fire at a time.

Say, would this make twin firepointed turrets on cap-ships fire both barrels at once, or is it 2 shots from the same barrel?

At some point I must get around to posting that list of SCP things I would like to see done....

So? I was using a Voodoo 3 myself until a while back.  Now I have a NVIDIA TNT2, but I do have a little glitch that is odd....:doubt:

And BTW, where can FS_open 353 be downloaded, if it's ready? Is it bug free yet?
