Title: Trying to get lunar/solarcell & glittaroo to look good

Supposed to be the moon and earth with the sun in the BG...

I want to try and make it actually look good before I attempt wallpapers.

Check the first image there, Distant World.

It's tricky to get good looking gasgiants with Lunarcell making textures, but some volumetrics and post-production help a ton.

The nebula in this pic is nothing fancy though.

Just kidnap Ace and his computer.

It'll be cheaper and easier than buying MAX and doing it yourself.

nice pic Tiara ;), though that lightsource (which is the sun as you said) behind the moon should be blurred a little..

the atmosphere should be bright if the sun is behind it, but it looks dark.

I think he means that thin line of grey on the very outside of both planets.  Indeed, it should be brighter.  Like..white or something.

Moon = no atmosphere = no halo glow around it.

the atmosphere on the moon makes for a nice night-time glowy effect planet-side though
