Does inferno have any highly advanced sentries that replace the BGreen sentry of the FS2 main campaign?
-
Only the one that attatches to the Argo transport.
-
So what happened to the other ones? became obsolete? Just a suggestion but i personally think you should use them to defend light installations like cargo depots and the like. But who am i... :blah:
-
We don't really have a 'light' installation for the GTVA. Though I can get hold of two sentry guns quite easily if I want them.
-
if it inconveniences you.. then nevermind. Otherwise go ahead.
-
Oh yes, Woo... do the Anti-fighter sentries pose a threat/challenge to pilots this time around?
-
If we make any, they should...
-
No army is complete without some strong sentries ;)
-
I'll have a play once R1 is done, I can't add anything to the tables since I'm going to use R1 tables as the base.
-
AAAf Alastors would be a nice touch.
-
I was thinking of something a bit more deadly to fighters :D
-
Shielded Alastors with the "ULTRA Anti-Fighter" beams. You know, the AAA beam weapon that can kill a Bakha in two hits.

we don't have that beam in the tables anymore.
-
Put it back or make a replacement that's even deadlier.
-
An idea i had once about the RCB's on FS2 (Forgotton how to spell their neames).
Give them four AAAF's, and thrusters so they can rotate and turn to face opponents.
Then just give it a suped up version of the Beam they have on Fs2, place in in an array, and look out Shivans.
(In case there's any Star Trek DS9 fans here, the Cardassian Orbital Weapons Platforms on the episode "Tears of the Prohets" are a good example)
-
I was thinking something akin to B5's GOD sats - self-rotating fully armed weapons platforms with a variety of varying-strength armaments for taking on all threats.
