could someone tell me of a free avi converter, preferebly one capable of accepting TGA as an input, the simpler and freer the better, I would actualy be quite happy with a simple console app that just took a wildcard string to define the input and spit out some sort of avi (don't care what codec so long as it can be played by me, fully uncompressed is fine), if it takes a wav (mp3 is prefered, but I'm shooting low) this would be several orders of magnitude better, but not required, the big thing is it is, free, capable of converting to avi, is free, can accept tga as an input, doesn't cost me anything in any form, hopefully can take in some sort of sound file, and is totaly free with no limitations or watermark type things in the end product
I would look for this myself, but I am haveing a bit of trouble with certan sites not being readable

Maybe you can find one at www.webattack.com . Other than that, I don't have any suggestions.
EDIT: This looks interesting, http://www.webattack.com/get/zweistein.shtml
But I didn't look far below the skin.:)

IIRC the Animation Shop that comes with Paint Shop Pro can accept multiple incrementally names image files as input (file01, file02, file03, etc), and output GIF or AVI.
EDIT: Paint Shop Pro, not Pain Shop Pro.

I think VirtualDub accepts an image sequence as input.
