It's raining! The heatwave is over! Yay!
*waits for the thunder to start*
I love the smell of rain, I do
-
where do you live again?
in Summer in Houston, it rains every day. every afternoon. without fail. only for like 2 hours, then it clears up. texas blows.
-
Leicester. As in England, since presumably there's a Leicester USA somewhere...
-
hehehe. ok ;)

man, you're lucky. Here in the DC area there is a heavy downpour about once a week, but all bright and sunny on the rest of the days. I cannot stand all this sunny weather; wish we had more rain to make things darker outside.

I've heard that Seattle (MS headquarters :D) is like that...
-
You lucky bugger, DG, it's still cracking t'flags up here.
-
here rain does not signal end of heat wave, it means start of oppresive life chocking humidity
-
i hope it rain at my town soon too its 30C° in the shadow and 45C° in the sun[/B]
-
Time to emmigrate (though not to England, if you please)
-
If it gets any hotter, I will go mad, and that is a PROMISE.
I've got to go into work and lift heavy loads all day tomorrow as well....
-
Pay a small orphan child to do the lifting for you
-
What a phantasmagorical idea!
There should be a plentiful supply of street urchins to press-gang.
-
Silence, both of you. I want this weather to last all summer so when I go back to Uni I see lots of freshers in skimpy outfits... and my girlfriend of course :nervous:
-
*notes it's cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey where he lives*

England not rainy enough for your tastes? I would think that over there, a few days of sunshine would have people jumping for joy, but I guess I was wrong:D :D
-
Sunshine, fair enough, but most of us don't cope well with sweltering heat as we're unused to it - and by sweltering, I mean anything over 30c :)

Thanks to global warming we get less rain in the summer now (at least it seems that way).
As for the rain we got a few spots on the other side of London (i.e in Kent) but it seems to be clearing up again now.
-
You're made of stronger stuff than I then. I can't abide anything about about 25...
-
Actually, I hate sunshine. :p dark weather all the way! :D

Uhh, isn't London the only place hitting 30+? we've got about 27/28 in Scotland. :p
-
Eh? The weather? What's that?
*hasn't left his dark, cool basement since May*
-
30c is 86f.
thats a normal summer day here. then you factor in almost 90% humidity and it sucks.
Stealth: how hard did houston get hit by that hurricane? (if at all)
-
*doesn't go out enough to notice the weather/heat/cold*
-
Mwuahhahaha! California 0wns you all!!!!!!111111
-
I don't care about the temperature since I never go out, but the stupid sunlight still comes in through the windows and makes it all bright inside the house. :p
-
if you can't handle 86F then DON'T move to Texas. It easily gets over 100f/40c ( :eek2: ) every day here in the summer. Speaking of the hurricane its been raining where I live all week.
-
Woot, the thunder and lightning's started :D

about the only thing I sahre with you.
And yeah! today it's raining! I was fed up of this damn 40°
But... it's still hot. damn you, weather!
-
I vote we build a giant parasol over all of Europe, but with a hole over London.:drevil:
-
Good news, everyone!
It rained overnight! w00t!
-
aah if it rains in England then it's possible that it will rain soon here in Finland too.
Oh how I wait for that day. Heat is nice time to times, but several days in a row when we are not used to it is a bit too much.
-
i live in a Sunburnt Country...;)
no seriously... you can spot the British Tourists a mile off... They're the Bright Red ones:p
-
you're from Australia, right? don't they have ozone problems there or something like that
-
Where I'm at right now, its freaking 105 degrees F, with 95% humidity, I can't stand to even go outside and try to breathe.
-
it's cloudy and cold here, thank god.
it was over 30C here yesterday, no fun. and according to the BBC wheater forcast, both Cornwall and Scotland are below 25C, only the northern tip of Scotland is 28C.
w00t, cool holidays!

i know, true dat :D :D
that hurricane Claudette (?!) was cool though, we all went to surfside, by the channel. waves were breaking pretty hard core there. awesome surfing, but very dangerous with the currents. the one guy got sucked out, and the coast guard had to pick him up :D. stupid n00bs... who goes surfing in the most dangerous weather when it's your first time and you don't know what you're doing :D :D

'tis about 21 degrees here in the boondocks (ok, we're only about 10 miles from Glasgow). Looks like getting set to piss donw...sigh.... I was actually starting to go a nice shade of orange. Guess it means I can go back indoors and do some work for Reci, I s'pose. Bloody rain. Thunder & Lightnings kinda fun, though. 'Cept it always seems to take out our local power substation.......
-
Orange?
DAVID DICKINSON!:D
-
It's supposed to get around 25C here on monday:D and today was the only day that had some hard showers for 10/15 min and that was it with some strong winds from time to time:D
I can't stand 30/35C way to hot for me. Unless it's a good looking girl. Damn got to go to the beach more offten and go girl spotting:p
*runs from angry girl friend*
