Does the question include NAS/SAN?
Now that I've got the VPN to the lab at work, my network drives add up to about 16 terabytes. ;)
If you're just asking aobut local storage, I'm running 480gb in this machine, and 960 in the file server. My wife is the loser coming in at 240 in hers.
-
PC - 20Gb (19.5Gb used)
Laptop - 25Gb (24.4Gb used)
Other PC - 4Gb (0Gb used - I kinda, sorta formatted it).
-
nice :D
20, 20, 60
100Gb total, about two or three of it is free though, my mp3s take over half my 60 :)
-
Just two 40gigs. One is a USB 2.0 removable, so it isn't as fast as my primary one.
-
40GB
80GB
Total: 120GB
-
PC - 60 GB
Laptop - 18 GB
-
20GIGs.. Don't need any more, since I don't store anything on hard drives anymore with the exception of active projects ( websites, images, sound, music ).
-
One 40gig drive, with about 4 gig free....

re-checks the figures
:eek2:
I'm packing just over 40GB on my PC.
-
I've got to get another HD really, as this one is currently filling up with...shall we say... gentlemens' relief imagery....
:D
-
I have a 10GB seagate, and I thought I am good with it:)
Sometimes I don't understand why do you need a 360GB winchester, if you can even hardly fill 20GB.

I only have 40 gigs. There's a lot of junk I need to get around to clearing out.
-
1x40 GB IBM
2x80 GB WD
1x120 GB WD
-
I have a 13 GB HD that's a bit over half full. I don't download a lot of stuff over the Internet so I wouldn't require a large one.
The computer that I'm constructing sometime in September will have a Western Digital 40 GB. Since I don't download a lot, I wouldn't require a large one, since it's a waste of money this way. With that money, I could get a better video card or whatnot.
Another thing, the larger the HD, the easier it will break. Ten years ago, about 500 MB was the largest you could get. Back then, it was about several tens of clusters per 20 Å. Now it's several hundreds per 5 Å or whatnot. So if some mishap happens and your HD gets scratched by the "needle", a larger amount of clusters would become useless. That means one scratch could take out 6-7 GB of space.
-
ROFL...
Topace mate, seriously, you call your HD a winchester and Zylon will come lay the smack down on you (and for once I may well have to agree with him)
Oh, and 80+20 jigabytes for me

Easy, Lots and lots of Hi-res textures and duplicats of them and movies too. Basicly raw uncompressed data.
-
Computer 1 = 40 GB
Computer 2 = 160 GB ; 160 GB
Swooh = 40 GB ; 160 GB
(soon to be) = 160 GB ; 160 GB
-
HD1= 40 GB (the 7200rpm one, not that that's special or anything)
HD2= 20 GB with a fried master boot sector... :p
-
186 GB
-
299 MB out of 2 GB baby, ;7
Of course, this is my secondary computer (laptop), but as my desktop is in a storage locker somewhere in NC, I can't comment on its disk space numbers.
-
wow! you could install three whole games on that!
-
Two 40's, about half full.
-
Around 400 gibibytes, and yes, I can spell

Yeah, the evil misuse of those SI units eh? I mean, who would be so silly to call 1024 bytes a kilobyte? Everyone knows a kilo implies 1000! Oh wait, are you complaining about the **bibytes? Those aren't SI units... ;)
-
I have 2 HDs in my computer: A 20GB IBM which is one of the few original parts still there, and an 8GB IBM I got from a friend in exchange for my old P3.
-
18.5GB. Only using about 12GB currently.

80 GB & 160 GB HD's. (=240GB) The 160GB one is full of anime though, leaving me only little over 40 GB free space on 80 GB HD.
Hmh, and this thread should have been a poll...
-
i need at least like 80 more gigs to keep me happy for the next year-halfyear and .... i've been holding alot of downloads for a LOONG time cause 30 gigs is just too damn little for me
-
Why does this seem like the computer equivalent to see how dar we can pea up a wall? To add my stream, I mean, er details:
28 Gigs, it's meant to be 80, but my Bios is odd and refuses to recognise the rest of it.

I was but then thought that there might be stuff that would need to be added or whatever. So I didn't do one.

I was replying to another post about how you could only fit a few games on the HDD.
-
28.6GB, 13 of which is free. could cut that down more by cleaning up me HD, too - i've got at least 8 games i should probably uninstall. Can't honestly see the need for any bigger HD - spesh as i can burn copies of the old stuff onto CD.
-
I got a 37.5 GB winchester(also known as Hard Drive :)), and it has still 20 GB Free space, just not for FreeSpace :D.
-
I have a total of 120 gigs :thepimp:
