Title: Blender import to Truespace looks REALLY funny.
Post by: Starfury on January 13, 2002, 07:43:00 pm
It's like the normals are all messed up, but, in Blender, they're all pointing outside.  This is in Truespace 4.2, importing from DXF format.  Any ideas?

All 'I' can say is useing TS2 and DXF made normals flip that had faces behind them in the mesh... Like a cylinder, the half shpere cap was fliped cos I left the end of the cylinder on...
I don't use DXF anymore, I use .obj files YAY!

Hmn... so I should try pointing them inside.. ok.

[edit] Ah wait! I found a solution:  Open the DXF in 3D Exploration, and convert it to a cob file.    (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)
