Title: it's good to see
Post by: Turnsky on July 29, 2003, 11:58:57 pm
it's good to see that Freespace 2 still remains in pcpowerplay's top 100 games of all time, sitting at #39

here's what they had to say:
Quote

THE space shooter when the genre was in its heyday. Awesome graphics. awesom gameplay and nebula effects to rock your galaxy. Those nasty Shivans have it Coming to them

Note that freelancer didn't even MAKE it into the top 100. probably although good, it didn't REALLY add anything fresh to the genre..

Because Interplay still technically holds the copyrights to its (rather significant) parts, perhaps?

It added a fresh crappy new play style to the genre.
