Edelbrock 600 cfm. model#1400 (Electric Choke). Almost completely new... i bought it, but it requires spreadbore, not squarebore, and the adapter for spread --> square was still leaking vacuum, so it's up for sale. retails over $300. now get it for lessthan half.

I'm aware of how a carburettor works, but how does a performance carb work to improve performance?

that's fuel injected isn't it?
you'll have to tell me what year it is, and some more statistics on the car if you have them... i don't htink it's carburated though, and if it is then if you put a new manifold and this carb on it, you'll fly.
