oh yeah, the advice part...
Personally I'd save some money and get a 120gig HD (if you still want a big one, otherwise, I'd go down to 80) by the time you start actually needing 320gigs of space, your other stuff will probably be out of date anyway.
EDIT: Pardon my ignorance, but how do you have DDR SDRAM? I thought it was either DDRAM or SDRAM...

look these
512MB DDR SDRAM PC-3200 - 2 x 256MB Module [-121]
1GB DDR SDRAM PC-3200 - 4 x 256MB Module - $30 Instant Rebate! [-30]
1GB DDR SDRAM PC-3200 - 2 x 512MB Module
2GB DDR SDRAM PC-3200 - 4 x 512MB Module [+211]
512MB Corsair XMS DDR SDRAM PC-3200 - 2 x 256MB Module [-55]
1GB Corsair XMS DDR SDRAM PC-3200 - 2 x 512MB Module [+80]
2GB Corsair XMS DDR SDRAM PC-3200 - 4 x 512MB Module [+371]

DDR stands for double data rate, and SDRAM is more a type of memory (I don't remember the specific differences right now), so DDR SDRAM is SDRAM that has double data rate (which means you can access it twice every clock cycle).

May as well make that Audigy 2 a platinum if you got that much cash.
