Title: Inside out ship

i have a strange problem with a ship i ported from Total Aniihilation. In pofcs and Truespace it looks normal but in modelview and fred and FS2 the textures are insideo out. As if i painted the inside of the model not the outside.

also where do i find the thruster texture to paint on the thruster?

Download 3d xplorer from reciprocity website downloads (under tools) and then open the cob of your model go up to tools and hit invert face orientation. Then save the cob and convert it to a pof.

Same thing in trueSpace.  Just find that "Flip Normals" button and hit it.  If some of the faces are inverted while some are not, then you'll need to fix each face individually.  I suggest using LightWave.  (Select Polygon->Hit "f" to flip)
