I don't know why, but on my PC any animation I watch seems to be zoomed in. It does this on all of my video applications.
I don't understand it, it's like it's zoomed in 50%, and when I maximize a window that covers over the player, and then go back to the player, the picture is fixed for about 7 seconds, where it'll then return back to it's zoomed in view.
I'll post screenies if anyone asks, but it makes watching any video nearly impossible...
-
try opening preferences on the player? or something in your video options may work...
-
There aren't any settings to change though.
-
IIRC you can **** with your DivX settings to do **** like that.
Try playing with the config thingies on whatever codecs you're using.

Heh, you're right. I left it on the default settings and it ****ed up, but now that I eliminated all of the compatability crap in 3ivx, it runs fine.
Cheers, an0n.

WTF? I was right?
-
LOL Careful An0n, you don't want people to start thinking you are helpful ;)
Flipside :D
-
I'm a dick-head, but there's brains behind them balls.....well, actually there's a nose, but you get the idea.
-
Well, we can all be dickheads sometimes, it's goes with the whole 'human' thing ;)
ROFL The image of you trying to get your nose behind your balls is one that shall haunt me for the rest of my life ;)
Flipside ;)
-
Human? Uh....sure. 'Hu-man'. :nervous:
-
Yeah be careful Flipside,
wouldn't want people to think you're sucking up to an0n (for whatever reason) either.
:D
-
Meh. I'm tired of this.
Once again, I direct you to the sockets.
As much as I'd love to spend all night arguing with you, the thought has lost it's appeal in view of your recent inability to entertain me, puppet.
I hereby cut your strings.
-
Bah, fear not people, an0n's suggestion only fixed it for an hour. It's up to it's old tricks again...
-
Then I defer you to the age-old solution: Format.
-
Hm.. wait. It fixed the 3ivx problem... *searches for the Divx problem*
Heh, you were semi-helpful. :p
-
LOL Glad to hear it's fixed :)
And as for being nice to people, well, that's just my choice, I refuse to get stressed out over a forum ;)
Flipside :D

It didn't help with regular Divx... I have to find wtf is wrong there...
-
Find a different codec thingy and do whatever you did to the first one.
And did you remember to click all the "Save Settngs" buttons and "Start-up Default" check-boxes?
-
Um.. there were none, so no, I didn't remember to...
But the divx codec isn't like the 3ivx one... and it's options are different. Is there a different divx codec out there, than the one on divx.com?
-
Just do a search for the Nimo codec pack.
It's got all the **** you could ever need and it installs it all automagically.
-
Hmm... OK... *runs off to DL*
