Where can I find the tools to extract table files? Also, is there somewhere I can just download a copy of the ships tables? This will be used only to add my new ships and such in.

ok - descent networks's  ("http://www.freespace-2.com") VPVIEW32
extract \data\tables\ships.tbl from sparky_fs2.vp then edit it with notepad

or next time just try to figure it out yourself

Ummm... however, there is another problem. I can't figure out how to extract with that thing. It doesn't have that option on it.

in vp view 32

1) open the missionn & tables .vp
2) select extract to default dir from the actions menu. (or press f4).

Doh! Right under my nose LOL! Sorry guys, just new to the FS tools. Thanx for the help!
