Title: fs2 graphics problems with the gfx5200 videocard

i wanted to play freespace again after 7 months of laying somewhere in my room but the graphics looks ****y with my gfx5200 card does anyone has the same problem?

screenshot? turn off anti-aliasing, helped for me on my GF4ti4200, dunno y.

Get the latest SCP version and a very large amount of ****iness will vanish ;)

You may need to do the same registry fix as a GF4 does, and also, your graphics card is severely lacking in power.....

I had an Fx5200. It both sucked and blew, in defiance of conventional physics. Within a week I'd replaced it with a Ti48, and I've never been faster :cool:

The way I figure it, by the time DX9-only games actually start to make an appearance, the FX line will have come down in price to the point where I may actually be able to afford a decent one, whereas today the entry-level card (the 5200) is almost as expensive as the high-end Ti cards.
