How do I end a mission without useing the jump drive or using the end-campaigne command?
I don't want to end my campaigne, I just want the mission to end after a specific task is complete. Say for instance, you do a mission where you fly through subspace and when you reach a certain area the level ends and then you go to the next mission but you don't use your subspace drive to leave?

Use the Red Alert sexp... it transports you to the next mission...

I could try it but one thing is that you play variouse characters during the game so it can't be a red alert mission. The first mission you will actually play a different character because it is actually an intro into the rest of the game. I'll check out the red alert though and see if there is a way to do this.

If you are talking about the status of the ship in the next mission, only thing to do is not check the red alert carry status box in the ship menu (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
