Got tired of wallpapers covering my icons, so made my own. It's a pic from APOD (astronomy picture of the day, great website) of the moon, to which I added a brown-ish tint and a bit of feathering. I really need to change it though, it's been there for ages. And get rid of all those icons into my start menu under a folder called "desktop" or something, like I did with all the games (if you're wondering why there aren't any there).

Not sure if that's sarcasm so I'll just reply like it wasn't:

That's a hack of the windows GUI to make it look like Mac OS X.:)

As for getting Linux, I already considered it, turned it down until I know a bit more about computers.

I believe I got it at www.deviantart.com (where I get most of my wallpapers), lvlshot is the [lvlshot] tag. It makes image sizes consistent.

So, basically, my start menu consists of Ray Dream, Photoshop, and Explorer.

No, I mean the "treat shortcuts as web hyperlinks requiring only a single click to activate them" web desktop BS, icons on a Windows desktop aren't typically underlined like that unless it's enabled.

Oh don't get me wrong. I DO get lost a fair bit, but because it's remained more or less unchanged since last October, I know where everything is already. It's just new additions that take a bit of finding at times.

It's not exactly the same as the real thing and the folder windows have a Classic-ish look to them which I can't say I'm happy about but it's probably the closest I'll ever get to BlueCurve on Windows without going to the trouble of porting GNOME to Win32.

It was meant to be some kind of april fools joke where one of the new playable races would be the Shodo-Panda. Still in my oppinion not a bad idea, looking at the pic. I love it so much. The whole inner child, ying yang thing. As you can see, as the widdle panda is awake and playing with the dragonfly, the large one is calm and just relaxing. But in another picture, when the widdle panda is asleep, you see the large one growling and holding two katana's, ready to turn any opponent into chop suy. :D

You can find the nova in most astronomy books, or on a website somewhere - it's pretty famous. If you can find the name of that star, you can find it on a starchart, and then see what larger nebula it's in. Can't be arsed to do it myself, though - you'll have to have a look. :)

Yes, but the same effect can be produced by getting some modifed .dlls. :D
