Title: Frick the System: Internet Version Mk II
Post by: redsniper on August 14, 2003, 10:51:46 pm
While searching these forums for links to any good free programs I came upon this (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,6646.0.html) useful thread. (a nod to Stryke 9 for starting it and doing most of the posting) So, let's continue what Stryke started.

GMAX (http://www.discreet.com/products/gmax/)-a good, free, 3D modeling program. Although it seems useless at first because it can only read .gmax files, with some clever use of the Tempest Quake 3 gamepack and LithUnwrap or 3dexploration you can eventually get .cobs

All right, there you go. Now post!

...The problem being, new stuff doesn't pop up all that fast. I suppose were I to use up the hundred megs on Swooh to get part of Ray Dream up that'd be another story, but I've got other uses for it for now.
