Hey,
I need a few people for a new kind of MOD...
I'm still writing the story, but it looks quite different from what i've seen in most MODs...

Well...
Mission design is quite different from standard...
It is similar to the GTVI missions...
You will have to manage limited resources as you play, and, even better, the civilians will have their revenge too!
Ship design will be not heavily modified, just some tricks done to the existing ships...
New ships would be added as soon as i can find a ship modeller...
The story will start in the months following freespace 2 end...

I've had this idea before, where you have a set limit of fighters and ships and stuff with which to do XYZ oveer the next so many missions - I never had the chance to do anything with it though.

I'm curious: how exactly would you implement this? Does the game have some capacity to solicit the player for decisions, and act on them, outside of combat?

Well...
I thought about a mission results driven tree, so if you accomplish certain objectives you will have more stuff at the next mission or kinda like this...
I want even to do something like the "kill the transport or not" decision made in the GTVI missions.
But, as long as i haven't any help i only can write the plot and do really basic mission and TBL modding.
