ive noticed that truespace 3 does much better renders than 5 or 6

No truespace 6 render better its the man wo must use the programm right unknown_target you need a lot of learning the sun can you make in truespace with an sipmle light effect make the persued bluring and put it some steps back and use an simple starbackgrund

Anyways, yea, I don't have much experience with it, and tutorials don't help me much.

Wasn't there some project to remake the FS2 models with greater detail, or something?
Nice render btw, in terms of composition. With this sort of angle I would expect more perspective stretching on the Orion, but it's still pretty good. :)
