Title: Capital ship subsystem cargo

A while ago I posted a question on the FRED2 forum wondering if there were any way to get smaller capital ships to have subsystem cargo.  It seems only destroyers and above can have this, meaning that only they can have their subsystems inspected. Bobboau mentioned that it could be possible to fix this, but that it would involve new table entries.  By that time I had already done a revamp of the mission, so I told him not to worry about it.  Now I want to worry about it again.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Can someone tell me how to do this?

another question related to this: Can you put cargo in a subsytem that is made out of geomertrey?

Ugh, I hate that 'scannable subsystems' feature. For "Playing Judas" to convert to FS2, I needed to create alternate table entries for the Demon and Lucifer labeling them as 'Cruiser's so you can scan them in one pass. Now they make the small-ship-warp noise (Fwahhhhhhh) instead of the big-ship-warp noise (TSHEWoooooooooh). Oh well, sacrifices must be made.

well if you edit the sounds table you can make smaller crafts have the capship warp sounds... but then your fighter makes that noise too
