Your Iceni's looking a bit skinny. Feed it pies.

The current design would look awesome as a Vasudan cruiser/corvette.

looks vasudan, needs a lot more work though, but that goes without saying, as it is WIP

Why does it look Vasudan?

Give me a good enough reason, and I'll skin it vassy...

becase it has no hard lines, it's smooth, it looks like it was modeled after some liveing thing,

it looks vasudan

Gah... I wish Psycho had my original Terran version... Fine. I'll make it Vas.  That'll give me some leeway on the design, and let me try to use a different looking multi-part turret system.

Actually, make it a collaboratory design. It looks like a Vasudanised Iceni, and I'd quite happily call it a joint project. After all, they created a couple of fighters together, they need to make some bigger stuff.

I think I may do that. It'll let me use ideas from my last Kurruk model, and still heep certain aspects like the Reinforced ramming nose the Vasudans insisted on... And the strange engine masks the Terrans wanted so badly... :p

Well, they did, and we all know how that turned out.

The myrmadon is awesome. But they did try something bigger, something by the name of Collosus, I believe... and we know what happened to that one... Shoulda' let a Vasudan have command of it...

I was wondering how long that'd take. Does the Big C look even slightly Vasudan to any of you? I meant that the Alliance needs a warship that looks genuinely joint tech. So says I.

Then how about this:

Edit: Those are customizable name plates with custom graphics... You'd be able to change it for any whip via fredopen

Very good, but Perhaps bring the nose down so that it's on a lower point than the engines (by nose I mean the hooked beak-like thing at the bottom) andmaybe do something with the engines. They look a little flat.

Otherwse,

That's really a bad shot of the back... on the hooked beak part, there are 2 engine outlets, that you see through the center as only one (on the bottom, like this 8 o 8 , the o is the bottom of the engines from the front...)

Let me take a rear-angle picture... hold on.

Ah ok, we'll I'm still going to say you might want to lower it, otherwise it looks like it's thrusting into the back of the ship :p

OK, you probably aren't goint to want to hear tyhis, so chances are it wont be acted on, but I don't think you can really get a proper joint species look without making some custom textures. With the V textures, it'll be more like they've taken a Terran and a Vasudan ship and just welded them together somewhere. If you modified some of the V texs however, you could achieve the effect. EG. The occasional terran metal plate with lights and stuff replacing one of the Vasudan scales. Scales covering half a texture, and metal covering the other half, but with the separation line following the contours of the scales. Pipes and metal tubes coming over some scales.

It'll take longer, but really send home the integrated nature of the ship.

That's... not a bad idea... I may try that...

Hey, for the back, why don't you try using the Typhon main texture? That would pass as Terran while still looking somewhat Vasudan.

Get rid of the grey tile under the nose. Replace it with something darker, browner and techy; something from the Hecate.

The orange Arcadia lights look excellent. Use a little bit of that in a horizontal strip on the back, and it would be superb.

Ok, I asked sandwich to make a few texxies for me. (I suck at them, more than at modelling) so we'll see (soon hopefully) what he comes up with.
