Ya its true. There is a freeware program that you can save cob file. I'm downloading it now, but it's going slow cuz I just got a 56k and it over 20MGs. So go here (//"http://home.europa.com/~keithr/Crossroads/index.html") if you guy's want a free 3d modeler that can save in cob.

By the way don't know what the texuring is like or if it sucks.

Grrrrr. Crossroads. Last time I tried using it, it stalled my computer...repeatedly.

But what the hell. Might as well give it a try.

Oh and all it does is svaes the files as a different format. It's a converter, not a modeller (unless they've improved it lately).

Nice work dude, a lot of ppl will find a freeware cob modeller a lifesaver. I remember Strata3D getting pretty favourible reviews   (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

BTW minor niggle but would you put the small tags around your signature? use s and /s in the square brackets  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Well the first program I posted about is just a converter. And the second can't save in cob
